Metropolitan Exterminating Company, Inc. is a family-owned and operated pest, termite, and moisture control business that was founded in 1965.

Our owner received his initial training from his father (our founder), but has since gone on to receive certifications in general pest control, wood-destroying pest control, turf pest control, and ornamental control. Currently, he is working on completing a master technician program, and his experience in the field spans over thirty years.

Metropolitan employs only certified technicians, that are trained in specific areas of residential, commercial, and industrial pest control, as well as in the control of wood-destroying insects (which includes termites), and moisture. Moisture control is the "forgotten threat" to the structural stability of a building, and left untreated, is frequently the origin of respiratory health problems.

Metropolitan performs inspections for the purchase, sale, and refinance of properties, and issues reports for real estate closings. In 2005, Metropolitan established a repair division, to repair structures that were found upon inspection, to have existing termite and/or moisture damage.
